After 15 years of working as an eating disorder treatment specialist, one truth has become incredibly clear: eating disorders are rarely just about food.

They are often a symptom—an outward expression of something much deeper.

That’s why we intentionally offer workshops on topics like anxiety, attachment patterns, perfectionism, chronic pain, ADHD, toxic relationships, obsessions, women’s health, body image, and trauma. These aren’t separate from eating disorders—they are often the foundation beneath them.

Anxiety can drive control around food.

Perfectionism can create rigid rules and impossible standards.

Trauma can disconnect someone from their body.

Attachment wounds can shape how we seek comfort, safety, and identity.

Chronic pain and women’s health challenges can complicate body trust.

ADHD can impact regulation, impulsivity, and consistency.

Toxic relationships can reinforce shame and disconnection.

When we only focus on food behaviors, we miss the bigger picture.

Healing happens when we gently turn toward the root—not just the symptom.

Our workshops are designed to create space for that deeper work. They allow individuals to explore the underlying patterns, emotions, and experiences that often go unspoken but drive so much of the struggle. In doing so, we move from simply managing behaviors to truly understanding ourselves.

Because lasting change doesn’t come from control—it comes from awareness, compassion, and connection.

We believe that when we support the whole person, not just the eating disorder, healing becomes not only possible, but sustainable.
