Embodied Workshop (Releasing Body Shame)

This workshop is designed to support participants in unlearning body shame through intentional, body-based practices led by a licensed mental health professional. In a supportive and inclusive environment, participants will explore how societal messages, lived experiences, and internal narratives shape their relationship with their bodies.

The workshop integrates gentle yoga and guided meditation with psychological insight to promote body awareness, self-compassion, and emotional regulation. Practices are trauma-informed and emphasize choice, safety, and respect for individual boundaries.

Rather than focusing on changing the body, this workshop centers on changing the relationship with it—offering practical tools to foster acceptance, reduce shame, and support mental well-being. Suitable for all levels and intended to complement ongoing mental health or eating disorder treatment.
