Teen Body Image Yoga & Meditation Series
This supportive series is designed to help teens build a healthier, more compassionate relationship with their bodies through yoga, mindfulness, and guided meditation. In a world filled with social media pressure and unrealistic beauty standards, this program creates a safe space where teens can slow down, connect with themselves, and learn to appreciate their bodies for what they can do rather than how they look.
Each session combines gentle yoga, breathwork, and guided meditation to encourage self-awareness, reduce stress, and promote body acceptance. Teens will explore practices that help quiet negative self-talk, build confidence, and develop tools for emotional regulation and self-care.
Through movement, reflection, and mindfulness exercises, participants will learn how to tune into their bodies, manage anxiety, and cultivate a sense of inner strength and self-worth. The series emphasizes inclusivity, self-compassion, and the idea that every body is unique and deserving of respect.
This program is ideal for teens of all experience levels—no prior yoga or meditation experience is required. The focus is not on performance or flexibility, but on creating a positive and empowering relationship with the body and mind. This series will be guided by mental health professional Vicki Ginder, LCSW, MSW, RYT
